The Seneschal is like a club president or administrator. The Shire Seneschal is responsible for the operation of the shire and all legal matters pertaining to it, and for delegating tasks and ensuring that other officers are fulfilling their duties

The Marshal's office is responsible for overseeing the combat related activities in the Shire. They act as safety monitors during the fighting and ensure that each combatant is authorized to participate and will adhere to the Society rules of combat. The Heralds are responsible for all heraldic matters: court protocol, public announcements, the timely processing of submissions for names and armory and maintaining the records of any awards or titles bestowed upon fellow members.

The Minister of Arts and Sciences is charged with fostering the Arts and Sciences at the local level. Responsibilities include: Arranging local classes on a wide variety of topics, assisting Shire members through the process of entering projects in competition, encouraging the sharing of knowledge among members, & reporting Shire Art-Science activities to the Kingdom.

Waterbearer's keep fighters, officers, and spectators from dehydration by supplying them with water during combat. All waterbearers should work closely with the chirurgeons. Branch Waterbearers supply water at local events and assist the Kingdom Waterbearers at Crown and Kingdom Events.

The Gamesmaster furthers the practice and play of medieval games and pastimes. The Gamesmaster researches medieval games and pastimes, teaches about them, and encourages their play. Branch Gamesmasters teach games, play games, hold games nights and conduct gaming tournaments. Having period games at an event can make the it more enjoyable.
